The Air Jordan 14 may have flopped this year with initial releases such as the Sport Blue and Thunder, but that didn’t stop Jordan Brand from creating new hype. The Air Jordan 14 has been inspired by the Ferrari automobiles since its creation and this new color way with Red suede material last seen on the highly coveted Air Jordan 5 caused sneaker heads to go into a frenzy. An initial Chicago release to test the waters proved extremely successful, releasing at a $200 price point and fetching prices of $400-600 with ease on the market. ShoeFax will examine the after market price since the shoe released in August / September.
$291.22 Avg Price
The Ferrari AJ14 sports a Challenge Red upper, carbon fiber print shark teeth, Yellow branding, and Black on the laces, tongue, liners, and outsole. The sneaker had its global release on September 6th at a retail price of $200 and fetched its highest price of $660 a few days after the August 16th Chicago release.
As soon as the Ferrari color way dropped, the value of the sneaker went over triple its retail value at its peak but has since declined due to higher availability. Now, the sneaker hovers slightly under $300 for a healthy profit of $91 on a silhouette that has seen color ways sit on shelves for months and even get discounted.
