2014 Reebok Pump Blacktop Battleground II ‘Tribal’
The trend for bringing back classic sneakers is reaching an all-time high among sneaker brands of all sorts. The companies which produce sneakers sympathize with customer nostalgia by restoring their most memorable products from the golden era of sneaker production, the 90’s. This method of reproduction is not new to Reebok, and has been used to ensure that the creative approach to sneaker design forever remains unforgettable.
Earlier this year, Reebok had dug into its archives and recovered the Blacktop Battleground II, originally released in 1991. The vintage street basketball silhouette will be making another return in 2014, this time around, it will feature playful tribal pattering on both the heel and tongue of the sneaker. To make things even better this retro + colorway is outfitted with a gum outsole for both a subtle yet instantly noticeable finish. The release date for this pair is still undetermined. The clean profile and bright accents make it a perfect fit for the summer. Hopefully we will be able to see it in the near future.
