Kevin Durant’s passion for basketball has taken him on a journey. To commemorate how Durant’s dedication to the game has made him a globally recognized entity, Nike unveils another colorway of his newest sneaker.
The KD VII ‘Global Game’ has a universally stylish colorway that is worthy of a double take regardless of where they are seen. The trending monochromatic red outfitting encompasses the entire shoe. Even the innards of the zoom air units feature the same red. The only color distinction is the Swoosh and “KD” branding. Both are embodied on the shoe in a ‘Metallic Silver’ with multicolored accents, representative of celebratory confetti. A globe within the tongue’s signature logo ties into the sneakers overall theme.
Out of the complete lineup of Durant’s first wave of sneakers, this colorway seems to be making the most noise among supporters of his earlier shoes. However, keep in mind, Kevin Durant’s 7th sneaker is still in its early stages. There is plenty of time for equally appealing colorways to be revealed.
