Major DC, a boutique located in the heart of Washington DC, was given the opportunity to devise their own interpretation of the Reebok Instapump Fury. As one of the most clever renderings we’ve seen thus far, the sneaker nods at its air pump functionality by drawing inspiration from emergency air line equipment.
The shoe features a grey mesh base with a clear-white inflatable cage on its forefront. Bright orange accents outline the shoe in its entirety. And its black leather rear flashes the boutiques branding in safety-orange accents. Further aligning themselves with the theme of commercial safety, this pair makes use of glow in the dark material to duplicate the lighting strips, located in the aisles of the aircraft. Also included, are detailed instructions of how to operate the air pumps efficiently in the event of an “emergency” situation.
