This year Reebok has partnered up with notable brands in celebration of the Instapump Fury’s 20th anniversary. It appears that Bape will be joining in on this years fun. A Bathing Ape is a company that is very familiar with sneaker collaborations, and the execution on this pair of pumps proves just that. Last year, Bape and Reebok collaborated on the exact same Instapump Fury silhouette. This time around, the updated design looks just as promising.
The Instapump Fury is outfitted with a white midsole. Its inflatable cage is bordered by the brand’s iconic woodland camouflage. Within the camo print lies discrete Ape branding. The shoe’s toebox, heel, and tongue, are wrapped in a black mesh. More branding is stitched into the shoe’s heel portion. Rounding out this design are hits of army green on it’s heel, pull tabs, and cross section.
This solid release will be the perfect purchase for the camo-lovers, Reebok loyalists, and Bape collectors alike. The word on the street is that these kicks will arrive at Mita Sneakers on August 9th, 2014. There is no talk of a stateside release for this sneaker yet, however, make sure to stay locked in with ShoeFax as more details become available.
