2014 Air Raid II “Peace”

The 90’s was without a doubt the most important era of sneaker culture. It had given rise to host of timeless basketball silhouettes, immortalized our favorite players, and set the standard for the creative innovation we so frequently see in the new millennium. The Nike Air Raid II “Peace” had embodied all of these traits, while the pattern inspired by the 1992 Spike Lee and Tim Hardaway Ad brought a carefree ambiance unto the court.

1993 Air Raid I “Peace”

This time around the Air Raid I will be getting the same treatment. The Retro + colorway deviates slightly from the original with a combination of a black and grey nubuck upper, yellow accent stitching, pine green sock liner, a detailed “Urban Playground” print midsole, and is tied together brilliantly with funky ‘Nike Air’ tags and multicolored peace sign insignia. It is nearly impossible to come across a pair of original “Peace Raids” and even harder to find a wearable pair. You can expect this blast from the past to hit retailers July, 24th 2014.
