This Air Jordan 1 was designed by Doernbecher patient Tony Taylor Jr. and inspired completely by his story. The upper features a patent leather construction with a gradient fade. The Black / Blue signifies his triumph over kidney disease while the contrasting yellow outsole and stitching are inspired by Carmelo Anthony's past at Denver. Other features on this color way include a cartoon version of Tony, his favorite number "15", the date of his transplant, the stars representing his High School mascot, and a dog tag / hang tag listing his family.
