Sales Analysis: Nike LeBron 11 “What The LeBron” - Or Should We Say, What The Flop!?

We all know the coveted “What The..” colorways have always been very hyped up. Previous silhouettes sporting the design have turned out to be very successful. As we take a look at the highly anticipated Nike LeBron 11 “What The LeBron,” we’ll show you just how successful (or not) the sneaker really was. We analyzed sales data from both Kixify and eBay listings to give you the most accurate analysis to date. The sneaker’s appearance features some of the most popular colorways from the Nike LeBron 11 and previous models as well. This loud rendition of the sneaker released for a whopping $250 retail, but it seems like everyone who wanted a pair got one.

$354.22 Avg. Price

We took a look at the sales of both Kixify and eBay from the time the sneaker released to now. The release of the Nike LeBron 11 “What The LeBron” was highly anticipated to be a huge resell opportunity, but due to the high number of pairs released the sneaker didn’t do as well as expected. After initially releasing for $250, the sneaker only reached heights of just short of $400. In the first couple weeks the sneaker had at least 3,775 listings all together.

Unfortunately only 1,403 of those listings were actually successful pushing the sell through rate to a low of 37.17%. The low sell-through rate dropped the sneaker’s average price to only $354.22 a pair.

Even though $354.22 seems like a high price point for reselling, it’s really only about $100 over retail. With other “What The..” colorways going for double or even triple retail, this sneaker definitely didn’t live up to the name/hype of the signature design. Even though people are saying this is the best design of this colorway we’ve seen from Nike, it looks like nobody is willing to put up big bucks for a pair. After all the hype that surrounded this sneaker’s release, if you copped the sneaker for anything over $350 you may have over paid. If you’re still looking for a pair for yourself, it shouldn’t be too hard to get. Check Kixify and eBay if you’re still on the search for the Nike LeBron 11 “What The LeBron,” and check back to ShoeFAX for more Sales Analysis of your favorite sneakers!
